It is exactly a year since the Your London Tours website relaunch. So, to celebrate our “birthday”, we have decided to take a brief look back at the progress we have made over the past 12 months.
New Look
Let’s start with the website relaunch itself. A fresh new look designed to be more user-friendly and compatible with desk-top, tablet and mobile. It now features colour-coded sections and drop-down menus to ensure that all information relating to tours, including itineraries, prices, and terms & conditions, is now just one single click away.
In a timely fashion, we were also proud to announce we had won the award for London Tour Operator of the Year for 2018 as nominated by the Luxury Travel Guide magazine.
New Standards
Running alongside the new website design we also set out our new Ethical Charter. This relates to how we do business with you, our clients, and ensures the secure management and protection of the personal data you share with us. In a world where customers are at the mercy of the unscrupulous dealings of certain online platforms, we believe this matter to be an absolute priority.
New Tours
Since the relaunch we have been steadily adding to our collection of private tours. We began with our Royal Wedding Tour celebrating the marriage of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle. (How time flies! At the time of writing they have just announced the arrival of their first child!). We then added our London Tours by Tube which have turned out to be remarkably popular in this age of environmentally-conscious travel.
Next came our great-value Ultimate London 2-Day Tour, saving our customers a bundle of money against booking two separate day tours. We also announced our Mayflower Tour celebrating 400 years since the Pilgrim Fathers’ famous voyage. A couple of months ago we added our family-friendly Harry Potter and Matilda tour, and then, in a revamp of our traditional out of London tours we launched the following: A Day in Bath, A Day in Cambridge, A Day in Oxford and Stonehenge & Salisbury.
Your London Tours chief tour administrator Frank Martins said: “Since the relaunch of the website last year it has been an upward trajectory in terms of how we present our product. We aim to ensure that professionally as well as practically, Your London Tours remains our clients’ first port of call for a trip to remember.”
